How do you stay healthy? Eating right and getting enough exercise are good ways to take care of yourself.

Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness: it strengthens muscles and the cardiovascular system, improves athletic skills, helps with weight loss or maintenance, and is also done for pure pleasure. Frequent and regular physical exercise boosts the immune system and helps prevent heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type-2 diabetes, and obesity. It may also help prevent depression, help to promote or maintain positive self-esteem, improve mental health generally, and can augment an individual's sex appeal or body image, which has been found to be linked with higher levels of self-esteem.

One way to make sure that you get enough exercise and the right kind of exercise is by working with a personal trainer who can assess your current health status, help you define fitness and health goals, and create a program to meet those goals.
