Antiques
Available Sub-Categories:
What is an antique? The rule of thumb used by most antique dealers is that anything 100 years old, or older, is an antique. Items that are old, but not quite that old, are called vintage (though there's one exception, cars, which are considered antique after 25 years).
So an antique is essentially an old collectable item. It is collected or desirable because of its age, beauty, rarity, condition, utility, personal emotional connection, and/or other unique features. It is an object that represents a previous era or time period in human society.
Antiques are usually objects that show some degree of craftsmanship or a certain attention to design; how often do you hear people say, "They don't make that kind of quality anymore"? Antiques are bought at antique shops, estate sales, antique auction houses, online antique auctions, and other venues.
Check out both the antique and vintage items available via video here on VideoAdds!
- Antique shops: Here you'll find antique stores and antique shops that either feature general antique merchandise (all sorts of antiques inside) or specialized (some antiques focus on a period, for example, or just one collectible such as toy soldiers, antique rugs or art, or dolls).
- Vintage clothing: Need something classy for your next costume party? Or maybe you just like the look of bygone eras. Either way, vintage clothing is your sartorial ticket to going back in time, and these videos will show you how!
- Antique books, antiquarian books, & rare books: Antique books are highly collectible items. First editions of important works command high prices, while signed editions are also extremely valuable. Check out these antique book videos to see exactly what you're getting!
- Antique dealers: Some antique dealers work in antique shops or antique consignment centers, while others do antique auctions or flea markets. Check out where these antique dealers work via video.
- Antique appraisers: Do you have something to sell, but want to find out first what it's worth? Don't wait for Antiques Roadshow to come to your town... instead, hire one of these antique appraisers to help you understand exactly what it is that you own or plan to buy or sell.
- Becoming an antique appraiser: Here's how you can get started as an antique appraiser.

If you want to create art and are just starting out, this is a great place to be, because here we have videos of art instructors, art supplies, and more, that you can see in action.
And if you're an established artist, this is a great place to sell your work or offer classes. Video descriptions are always more vibrant!

An attorney-at-law in the United States is legally qualified to prosecute and defend actions in courts of law on behalf of and on the retainer of clients. Alternative terms include counselor (or counselor-at-law) and lawyer.
The United States legal system does not draw a distinction between lawyers who plead in court and those who do not, unlike many other common law jurisdictions. An additional factor which differentiates the American legal system from other countries is that there is no delegation of routine work to notaries public.
Attorneys-at-law are licensed to practice law within a given geographical jurisdiction, so if you're looking for one, you'll need to find one licensed in your state.
The types of legal services provided by an attorney may vary, with many attorneys choosing to focus their practice on a particular portion of law. Some states grant formal certifications recognizing specialties.
Different types of attorneys in opposition to each other exist as well. Examples include: Outside counsel (law firms) versus in-house counsel (corporate legal department), plaintiff versus defense attorneys (some attorneys do both plaintiff and defense work, others only handle certain types of cases like personal injury, business etc.), transactional (or "office practice") attorneys (who negotiate and draft documents and advise clients, rarely going to court) versus litigators (who advise clients in the context of legal disputes both in and out of court, including lawsuits, arbitrations and negotiated settlements) and trial attorneys (who argue the facts) versus appellate attorneys (who argue the law).

Auctions
Available Sub-Categories:
Auctions sell property at a specific time and place to the highest bidder. Most auctions require a person to get a bidder number or other identifying item prior to bidding.
If you're selling something: Why choose an auction over other sales? An auction gathers people who are looking specifically for the item being sold, and the more people you have at an auction, the better chances of getting good prices. When you have two or more people competing for the same item, the price usually goes up.
If you're buying something: Live auctions can be fun. Most auctions run on a number system for bidding. You'll get a number, usually written on a card. When you win a bid, the auctioneer will want to know your number. It's easiest to bid by raising the card, but at least have the card ready.
For most auctions, you can start looking at items at least one or two hours before the auction starts. Auction houses often have a preview the day before the auction. The more time you have to look at things, the better. Take a notebook/pen, a decent small magnifying glass, and a digital camera. Never bid on an item you haven't looked at!
There are bargains at almost every auction. You just have to recognize it and decide whether or not it's something you want. While auctions increase the competition, they also increase the odds that something will slip through at a bargain.

The automotive industry includes a wide range of companies and organizations involved in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles.
US auto sales are expected to hit a record high in 2015, according to CNBC, and it's easy to see why. We live in a country where almost anything is more accessible by car. And it's not just the US: the automotive industry is one of the world's most important economic sectors by revenue.
Whether you're downsizing and selling your minivan or looking to buy a clean used car in your area, these videos will show you--or help you show--exactly what you're dealing with.
- Cars: Most definitions of the term "car" specify that they're designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for between one and eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods. Take a look at some of the cars being offered in these videos, or post one for sale yourself!
- SUVs: A sports utility vehicle is similar to a station wagon, usually equipped with four-wheel drive for on-road or off-road ability. It's like a station wagon but mounted on a light-truck chassis. The first one came out in 1984 but they've soared in popularity since then, though today many SUV drivers don't ever take their vehicles off-road!
- Sports/specialty cars: A sports car is a small, usually two-seater automobile that's designed for high performance and delicate handling. High maneuverability and minimum weight are requisite.
- Minivans: A minivan is a personal-use small van featuring sliding doors for passenger access and configurable, stowable, or removable seating. Taller than a sedan, hatchback, or a station wagon, the minivan has a shared interior volume that can flexibly reconfigure to prioritize either seating or cargo volume, with rear cargo access via a liftgate or tailgate.
- Electric/green vehicles
- Pickup trucks: A pickup truck is a light-duty truck with an enclosed cab and an open cargo area with low sides and tailgate. Once a work tool with few creature comforts, by the 1990s less than 15 percent of owners reported use in work as the pickup truck's primary purpose. Today in North America, the pickup is mostly used like a passenger car. Whether you need one for work or play, there are videos here with some great deals!

Everyone has stuff; bags and totes are how you carry it all around with you.
Originally there was a big difference between a tote bag and other bags (like purses and pocketbooks), but now there can be little difference. A tote bag is a large bag, originally made of cloth with two handles and no interior or exterior pockets. It is made to "tote" (carry) things around, especially while shopping or traveling. A handbag was traditionally much smaller and meant to carry around personal things a woman needs in everyday life.
However, nowadays women have handbags that are the size of tote bags and there is a specific class of handbags called totes. It allows you to carry more things every day and to shop, all out of the same bag! Men, who do not generally carry handbags, can carry a tote bag for shopping or traveling.
There is a dizzying number of bags that can be used to carry stuff! They include bucket bags, clutch bags, doctor's bags, drawstring bags, hobo bags, messenger bags, muff bags, pocketbooks, saddle purses, satchels, and wristlet bags.
From stylish designer purses to the backpacks your kids will beat up on this year, these videos are where you'll find everything from the smallest wallets to the largest roll-on travel suitcases.

Did you know that more than a billion bicycles have been produced worldwide, twice the number of cars produced? Bicycles are eco-friendly and provide great exercise and great transportation.
The basic shape and configuration of a typical upright bicycle or safety bicycle has changed little since the first chain-driven model was developed around 1885. But many details have been improved, especially since the advent of modern materials and computer-aided design. These have allowed for a proliferation of specialized designs for many types of cycling.

Boats
Available Sub-Categories:
A boat is a watercraft of any size designed to float and travel on water. Some people laughingly call it a hole in the water into which you throw money, but if you've been bitten by the boating bug, you'll always consider it money well-spent.
Boats can be categorized into three main types:
- Unpowered or human-powered boats. Unpowered boats include rafts and floats meant for one-way downstream travel. Human-powered boats include canoes, kayaks, gondolas, and boats propelled by poles (punts).
- Sailboats, propelled by means of sails.
- Motorboats, propelled by mechanical means, such as engines.
In addition, ski boats are specialized motorboats specifically designed to safely tow one or more water skiers or para-sailors. This is achieved by using a high-horsepower, marine automobile engine, usually positioned in the midsection and powered through a direct drive to the propeller.
Boats have a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and construction methods and materials, depending on their intended purpose.
First ask yourself what it is that you want to do, and that will determine the right kind of boat for you. And here at VideoAdds you can see them in motion!

Coaching refers to training or development in which a coach supports a learner in achieving a specific personal or professional goal. It is a term widely used in sports but also is more and more associated with any kind of mentoring. Coaches are generally focused on facilitating growth in their clients, promoting self-discovery, building on existing strengths, supporting the client to achieve his desired outcome, and providing values-based goal-setting.
Consultation is generally a less rigid relationship in which the consultant works with the client for a set project or number of hours; the "client" is often more than one person. The consultant is regarded as an expert, bringing some sort of technical expertise to advise on solutions to a problem, with goals generally related to programs rather than personal growth.

Computer are general-purpose devices programmed to carry out a set of arithmetic or logical operations automatically. Since a sequence of operations can be readily changed, the computer can solve more than one kind of problem.
In general, a computer consists of at least one processing element, typically a central processing unit (CPU), and some form of memory. The processing element carries out the operations, while the sequencing and control unit changes the order of operations in response to stored information.
Peripheral devices allow information to be retrieved from an external source (the internet, another computer, etc.), and store and retrieve whatever operations the computer(s) is/are working on.
Many people use computers of different sorts on their daily lives and work. If you're looking for something specific--a desktop model, a laptop, a tablet, or even one of the new wearables--take a look at these videos and see if you can't find it here!

Available Sub-Categories:
Construction is the process of creating and building infrastructure or a facility. It starts with planning, design, and financing and continues until the project is built and ready for use.
Large-scale construction involves a great deal of technology and manpower. Construction jobs are managed by a project manager and supervised by a construction manager, design engineer, construction engineer or project architect. Effective planning is essential; construction professionals have to consider zoning requirements, environmental impact, successful scheduling, budgeting, construction site safety, the availability and transportation of building materials, and logistics.
There are three types of construction: buildings, infrastructure, and industrial. Most users of VideoAdds will be interested in the first of these areas, building or residential construction.
The most popular method of residential construction in North America is wood-framed construction. Typical construction steps for a single-family or small multi-family house are: develop floor plans and obtain government building approval if necessary, clear the building site, pour a foundation with concrete, build the main load-bearing structure out of thick pieces of wood, add floor and ceiling joists and install subfloor panels, cover outer walls and roof in particleboard or plywood and vapor barrier, install roof shingles or other covering for flat roof, cover the walls with siding, typically vinyl or wood, but possibly stone or other materials, and install windows.
Framing involves these steps: frame out interior walls with wooden 2 by 4s, add internal plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and natural gas utilities, visit by building inspector, install interior drywall panels and fiberglass insulation to make walls and ceilings, install bathroom fixtures, spackle, prime, and paint interior walls and ceilings, add additional tiling on top of drywall for wet areas, such as the bathroom and kitchen backsplash, install final floor covering, such as floor tile, carpet, or wood flooring, and install major appliances.
Want to hire someone to put an addition on your house, create additional space--or build a new one from scratch? See some of their completed projects via VideoAdds video here first!
