Giving Your Marketing Video a Boost

Earlier this week we talked about titles for your marketing video, and we pointed out that it's essential to know your audience and to find a way that your product or service solves that problem.

It's fine to just show off your product or service on your video. But if you want to create really compelling content, you'll go beyond just telling the viewer what you're selling. You'll make them want to buy it.

How?

Let's back up for a moment. What do you get asked most about your product or services? Most of us can think of a list of at least five to 10 questions we get asked often, right?

(Even if your video is a one-off sale--selling a pearl necklace or a motorcycle--you can still think of questions that a potential buyer might ask. Write them down. Put yourself in their shoes: what would you ask, if you were interested in buying this item?)

Once you have a list of questions that can be answered, incorporate them into your video. Or, better still, create a series of short 2- to 3-minute videos clips where you state the question and then the answer.

These videos are easy to make--and just might make the sale!
