Marketing Made Simple
5 Tips To Promote Your Video Ad
Once you have a VideoAdds account and have created and posted your first video, it's time to switch hats, because you've just become a marketer.
- If you have social media accounts (and you should!), share a link to your VideoAdds advertisement there: it will send more people to your ad than you can imagine. People are forever clicking on links they find on Facebook and Twitter, in particular.
- Make sure that you use keywords in your video title, and use those same keywords in spreading the word about it.
- Consider the time of day that people are most likely to see/act on your video ad. If you're selling a one-off consumer-oriented product (say, a canoe, for example), then consider posting a reminder on social media around noon (people in offices surf the web during lunchtime) and in the evenings. If you're selling a service, Tuesdays through Thursdays during work hours is a good bet.
- Blog about your video with a link back to it. If there's a blog out there that deals with a similar topic (for instance, canoeing, as in the example above), then respond to posts on that blog with something intelligent and link back to your VideoAdds video.
- If you see another video that's related to yours in some way, you can submit your video as a "video reply." Be careful with this one, because it can feel too much like spam; only use video reply if you believe that the people you're referring will actively want whatever it is that your VideoAdds video offers.
You'll only sell your product or service if people can actually see your video, and these tips will help you gain--and keep!--an audience of prospects and potential customers/clients.
